Product Description

CL 900 is a premium grade thread compound formulated

specially for use on tool joints and drill collars in the oil

field industry.

CL 900 is formulated using an extremely shear stable and

water resistant complex soap based grease along with anti

degradant additives to protect against corrosion and

oxidation.

CL 900 contains a finely balance proportion of copper,

graphite and other lubricating solids that enhance load

bearing capacity as well as provide a low friction film over

metal surfaces.

CL 900 contains a blend of extreme pressure additives that

provide additional protection against seizure, galling and

allow consistent makeup.

The special complex soap based grease employed ensures

very good adhesion to surfaces even when wet.

CL 900 reduces friction during assembly, prevents cold

welding of shoulder / collar joints, ensures consistent joint

make up and breakout.

Applications

 For use in the oilfield industry as a tool joint and drill

collar compound for preventing seizure, galling and

ensure easy breakout for all drill collars, drill pipes,

tubings and casings.
